The Best Thing  //  I've Got a Feeling  //  This Is the Day  //  Never Do That Again  //  I Get the Message  //  Baker  //  You Don't Know Anything  //  Ba Ba Ba  //  Get Out of the City //  These Are the Thing About You  //  Quick, Painless and Easy  //  Back in Our Town

After the more or less weak debut Realistic that has been strong in its entirety only, Ivy move a step forward by the new territory that Apartment Life presents. Actually, Ivy have got a lush and thin sound that has its roots in 60s' pop and classic pop in general. But by Dominique Durand's sugar-like voice the band knows how to present their sound on a haunting and exciting way. Adam Schlesinger's and Chase's rhythm and further musical work does the rest and keeps the music down to earth without leaving pop's roots. The result is a rare pop record of the 90s that still can keep up with today's indie pop/rock because of its melodic and lovely sound.
